Shannon and Beatrice are constant presences in Yasu's brain, but since I want to keep spoilers like "this major character appearing in Episode 1 is Yasu's imaginary friend" and "Beatrice used to be an absolute fashion disaster" from showing up in tags, I'll be posting their commentary and advice here with a link to the relevant tag.
Day 1 Investigation w/Edward
SHANNON: How dreadful... I can't believe someone would leave garbage lying around like this. We should clean-
YASU: N- No, wait. It's evidence.
SHANNON: Evidence...?
YASU: Somebody's been, um, hiding here. A lot. Look at how the equipment's been rearranged. The playground's almost untouched and is still in good condition, too, but... see? The door squeaks.
YASU: There's something else too...
SHANNON: I think you've been reading too many of those mystery novels, but... alright, what else is bothering you?
YASU: You can't get any potato chips inside the school. The vending machines don't have them, and there aren't any inside the kitchen.
SHANNON: Oh my. That is strange. Maybe someone's parents packed them some lunch?
YASU: Maybe... I don't think so, though. I mean, if parents were involved in sending us here, we wouldn't- ah!
SHANNON: What's wrong?
YASU: He's outside!
SHANNON: Who???
YASU: Mister Edward- oh no, I've got to hide.
SHANNON: I don't understand. Why does he scare you so much? He seems perfectly pleasant.
YASU: Well, um- look!
SHANNON: There's nothing out of the ordinary that I can see...
YASU: He doesn't move, Shannon! Or blink, or anything! Er, sometimes. I spotted it in the music room once, but I was so scared that I just... left, afterwards...
BEATRICE: O-ho. Now this is getting interesting.
YASU: ...wait.
YASU: The door squeaks.
YASU:
YASU: M- M- Maybe if I just hide inside here he'll go away...
no subject
YASU: What should I do what should I do what should I do he's going to-
SHANNON: Ahem.
SHANNON: How can I help you, sir?
